Gain That Muscle Baby

I always knew weightlifting was a great way to not only tone your body, but also strengthen your heart, I am blown away by the information I found in Women’s Health Magazine” (July/August 2018, P. 22).

This article stated that studies have shown a 56% surge in the Human Growth Hormone (HGH) which stimulates growth, cell reproduction, and cell regeneration in humans. This growth hormone is important in human development hence for women the study saw a surge in this hormone after women begin strength training verses ongoing cardio training. Additionally, the same amount of calories were burned and the spiked only increased when fat was being burned and muscle being built.

I will say, I have seen a change in my muscle tonnage, strength and endurance I called it the bariatric monster.  For example, when I hurt or sprain a body part it seems that I bounce back better than I did when I did not workout and had massive weight on my knees.  Make everything you do count!
